Technical Issues

Asked By: Maryann    Date: Apr 03    Category: MOSS    Views: 1105

Has anyone got problems/issues with the integration of MOSS 2007, AD and
Exchange after setting it up? Also MOSS 2007 with Office 2003/2007
clients? Anything whatsoever, can you let me know? I setup MOSS 2007 a
while back on our Production environment and after a month of playing
around with MOSS 2007 a user came up with the error below:

The user created a document using word and attached it to a message she
was going to send via outlook. When she clicked on SEND, the above
message appeared. Now, I don't think this has got anything to do with
SharePoint. But after I uninstalled SharePoint, the email was
successfully sent.

If there are other issues like this or a resource on the net pls do let
me know.

The error message:

to be created."

I know you can send an email to a MOSS site. Any attachments
actually get added as separate file inside the Document
Library/Workspace that you are sending that email to. The error seems
to indicate that the email was directed to a Document
Library/Workspace at a URL where SharePoint was not currently
installed/running.
