I am having a problem getting Team Services to see out MSSQL7 server. I
installed it and got it to extend a website and create a database on a MSSQL
2000 test server, but it will not connect to a SQL 7 server. If I use the
Netbios name, it says it cant find the server  and if I use the FQDN it says
it cannot connect using the username and password. I know the username and
pass is good.

Also, if at some point we want the full blown SharePoint, can we just upgrade
from TS or do we have to uninstall/install?

Any ideas?

I didn't know where to post questions about Team Services, so I
have 2 questions then.

1. Is there a newsgroup like this for Team Services. I haven't been
able to find one on Microsoft.

2. The problem I am having is:
In my root virtual web, I click on Create and instead of seeing a
list of LINKS, DOCUMENT FOLDERS, etc I see the following:

ERROR: No list was specified in the request.

Followed by the choice to import a spreadsheet.

I too am looking for a group for both "SharePoint Team Services" and
"Project Server". If anyone knows of these let me know, otherwise...maybe
one of us should start one...

Seeing as team  services is integrated with Project server  I reckon the best
bet for this would be....

microsoft.public.project.pro_and_server

I have seen this list. It is very new and much goes unanswered. When I
search for something similar I find that the subject was broached but the
message was purged. Kinda made me a little uneasy.
