Tasks from Outlook to SP

Asked By: Christina Clark         Date: Nov 26, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 167

I have a rather extensive task list created in Outlook 2002. Is
there a straightforward way of exporting them directly to the
sharepoint task area? If so, can it then be syncd so that when a
task is created in Outlook it is replicated in Sharepoint?

Are you aware of the Outlook Smart Mailbox web part?
This web part provides the option of displaying tasks
from Outlook in the wep part. If you don't want to
use this web part, you might get some ideas from the
code on how to accomplish what you want to.

Thanks for the suggestion - I wasn't aware of Outlook Smart Mailbox.
Although I'm an advanced user, I'm not a programmer so is this
something that can be easily developed, and if so, where can I get
what I need to accomplish this.
