Surveys and publishing sites

I am using SharePoint 2010 and for some reason I can't add a survey to a
publishing page. Can you only add a survey to a team site? Any help at all would
be great.

Check to see if there's a site collection feature that relates to Team Sites.Â
Enabling this features may provide this ability.
