Surveys and branching; when someone saves w/out finishing.

Asked By: Shea    Date: Oct 16    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1532

We are experiencing a problem w/ a survey that uses branching. The
branching breaks the survey into multiple pages, but it appears that
several people "saved" out of the survey before moving on to subsequent
pages. Now they are not showing in any views because all views seem to
only show items when "completed" is equal to "yes."

I tried hacking into views by tweaking the URLs, but none of the views
appear to have a filter (I was expecting to see something like, "show
only when completed=yes", but nothing like that).

Help! We don't want to send out some big message asking people to visit
the "all responses" page to find and edit their surveys. :( It would be
great if the site admin (or even collection admin, if necessary) could
somehow get into a view that would show even the unfinished responses.

I know, crazy isn't it? I tried the same thing you did, tried
hacking into it. I ended up calling Microsoft on this one.
The final result was... that's how it works, and it's by design.
