Survey Access

Asked By: Travon    Date: Jun 15    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1306

If a user creates a Survey on their site, and sets the audience to
"All Portal Users" shouldn't any portal user be able to get to the
link if it is in a list in a public part of the portal? I have all my
NTAuthenticated users set to read the whole Portal.

Are they unable to access  the survey  or unable to submit a response? Or
are they not seeing the link at all?

Sounds like the survey  hasn't been setup to allow the Reader role to Add

happens to reside now. When you edit an area's security, if affects
every list/library on that area, hence why I recommend storing the
survey on an area of its own.

Cryptic, no? I customized the Reader Role on it.
Will it work if I don't show it in the Navigation?

create a link on your portal site  somewhere for users  to respond to your

Access to the Results. I don't see anywhere you can do item level
permissions on surveys. Just lists? The thing is I have a survey  I
created for our Fleet Mgt staff. They need to have access  to just
these results. I don't want to give everyone access to these results.
And I don't want to give them access to other forms that are not
