We have seen an error, "The super user account utilized by the cache is not
configured...." The solution is to execute: 'stsadm -o setproperty
-propertyname portalsuperuseraccount -propertyvalue account -url webappurl'.
Furthermore, there is the caviat: The account should be any account that has
Full Control access to the SharePoint databases but is not an application pool
account.
What have people done - create a special account? According to the statement,
the farm and service accounts should not be used. Does this account need "full
control" on all the databases or just the content databases? So far, I have
found very little information doing a search.
