Subscription Notifications Not Working

Asked By: Ricardo    Date: Apr 20    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 735

I could really use some help with this one.
Subscription notifications are not working: not by e-mail
and not on the subscriptions dashboard.

Approval e-mails are working fine, so SMTP is not a factor.
Subscriptions are enabled in the workspace, with a
limit of 75 subs per user. The urn:schemas-microsoft-
com:publishing:DisableSubscriptionNotifications is set to False, the
MS Search service has been stopped, then restarted.

I installed Service Pack 1 a few months ago; I don't know
whether SP1 is a factor or not. All I know is that
subscriptions used to work.

Scheduled tasks seem to be set up properly. However, when
I access them via the Control Panel, right-click on a task
and choose Run, there's a split second delay and that's
it. Seems to me that it should take longer than that to
scan the system and send notifications.

Several users have subscriptions; I tested deleting a
document from a folder to which I subscribed, ran the
scheduled task (Daily, Immediate, and Weekly varieties)
and received no notification whatsoever.

I've read umpteen posts on this issue but have yet to read
a solution that applied to my case, i.e., everything on
the server and in the workspace seems to be set up just
fine. Help!?
