Submit button at the bottom of the page

Asked By: Garret    Date: Aug 04    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1660

Is there any way to put a submit button at the bottom of an
upload.aspx or newform.aspx page without having to modify schemas or
anything else on the server as Ted Tang describes in this MSDN
article?

We run into this request all the time, but would rather handle it
through the portal and FrontPage if possible.

Modifying the SCHEMA.XML file done to change all versions of a page  in a
Site Definition. It is not for the faint of heart. To change a single
instance of a page simply drop a Content Editor Web Part onto the page
and add whatever content you want. You can do this on the AllItems.aspx
page in the browser using my tip here:
mindsharpblogs.com/.../285.aspx

Of course, you can also add other Web Parts. You could also make changes
to the page in FrontPage but be aware that you will cause the page to
become unghosted. If you do unghost the page, be sure to use the Ghost
Hunter Web Part to put  it back.

You can download the GhostHunter Web Part from Maurice's site:
