We are currently wanting to move a sub-site to it's own site
collection as well as a new content database. I created the new
content db in Central admin, turned our other content DB offline,
backed-up the sub-site and restored to a new site collection (using
DocAve). I ran into some issues:
First, our custom master page did not follow and when I access site
settings, lists, and other content I get the sharepoint "File not
Found" error page.
Second, What settings do I need in place to avoid future site
collections going into this new Content database and going into the
original?
