stsadm.exe -o preparetomove -oldcontentdb

  Asked By: Sarojini    Date: Sep 05    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2508

I'm trying to fix synchronization errors after a content database
move from a development to production sql server. My documentation
says to run the following command:

stsadm.exe -o preparetomove -oldcontentdb

I get this message:

Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-
xxxxxxxxxxxx).

I don't know how to obtain the GUID of my content database. I tried
using this command to retrieve GUID

C:\>stsadm.exe -o enumcontentdbs -url http://entdev:15419

<Databases Count="1">
<ContentDatabase Server="ENTDEV\MOSS" Name="MBAExec_Content" />
</Databases>

How can I retrieve my content database guid?
