stored procedures

is there a stored procedure in the sharepoint database which returns
the most recently changed documents site wide? if not does any one
have a stored prcedure that can do that?

Using OOTB SharePoint stored  procedures directly or writing your own against the
SP database  is unsupported and highly discouraged. Your best bet would be to
create something using the Search OM and/or web services.

Basically, don't do what you are trying to do. Accessing the SharePoint
database directly (via stored  procedures or direct queries) will break support
and potentially the whole application. The Object model and web services (as
documented in the SDKs available on MSDN) are the only supported ways to access
SharePoint information programmatically.
