I recommend to anyone getting started in Sharepoint and does not have the
time for the huge Admin guide get a copy of the INTRANET ACCELERATOR GUIDE

ol/office/sps2003/downloads/MSIDwnld.asp it is a pretty good "how to"
cowritten by HP and MS
