I've created an Approval workflow that should automatically start
when a user publishes a major version of a document in a library. The
workflow starts no problem when the user Publishes the document from
the site - so when they click Publish Major, it takes them to the page
to choose approvers.
The problem is that when they check in and choose major version
directly from Office 07. It checks the document in but doesn't start
the workflow, it just sets the Approval Status to pending, therefore
assigning the approval task to anyone with approval rights (without
workflow)
Anyone run into this problem before? I'm trying to make this is easy as
possible for the Document Author. And would rather not require them to
have to go to the web to do it.
