I have read in the installation documentation that there is no directupgrade from a stand-alone installation of WSS to a farm, but this iswhat I've been asked to do.Are there ways of doing this other than uninstalling and reinstalling?
I would probably save a copy of each content database. Uninstall WSS,reinstall WSS, and add the content database(s) back to their respectiveWeb Applications. I think that backup/restore or export/import could beused equally as well.
Backup/restore should also work, but export/import will reset lose thesecurity settings and revert to default security.
