SSRS Database error with sharepoint

Asked By: Eve    Date: Jun 14    Category: MOSS    Views: 660

I am trying to integrate SSRS 2005(Service Pack2) with MOSS 2007. I
have successfully configured sharepoint with SSRS and created a sample
report.I have logged in using my credentials and displayed that report
using page viewer web part on window-based site.Report works fine. But
whenever someone else tries to see tht report using his\her account, it
gives an error
"An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'AdventureWorks'.
Login failed for user 'domain\testuser'."

Report only works with 2 accounts i.e 1)spadmin account 2) My account

The remaining all user are getting the above error.

Since last more than one month I am trying to fix this problem but I
couldn't find any supportive solution. I would really appreciate if
someone can help me out with this. for me, It needs to be finished by
this week.

When setting up the Data Source, there is an option to specify an
account to be used. Have you tried that? There are couple of options
there. You may want to play with those to see which one works best
for your environment. Also make sure that the domain account you are
using for your application pool is same as your application as SSRS
expects an exact match domain\accountname.

As I understand it is problem of Authentication. I am assuming you upload/deploy
report on document library. Please change the windows credential to SQL
Credential under Store Credential, here add your those sql credential which is
having access of you report database. I am sure it will resolve your
authenticaion problem.
