SSL in sharepoint

Asked By: Viral    Date: Dec 15    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 785

we are using the events web part from the MS ResKit. I read that this web part
does not function when using ssl and fqdn. Unfortunately we are switching to SSL
in a few weeks.
Actually I don't understand (MS only states but doesn't explain) why the events
web part does not work with SSL. Is someone able to explain me WHY??? Can this
be changed by coding??? Or is it by design??? What is the reason for that?
