SSL Indexing not working with SSL

We are forcing SSL for our Extranet site running SPS. Since that time
scheduled indexes do not run. We were indexing a portion of the
Document Library. I have since disabled the forcing of SSL for that
subfolder and all subfolders. If I right-click the Content Source and
choose START FULL or START INCREMENTAL then it works but SCHEDULED
updates do not. Anyone have any ideas?
