Asked By: Adriane Coffey         Date: May 05, 2009      Category: MOSS      Views: 218

I added ssl to the sharepoint server. Which works fine.
But when you click on the search it links to http instead of https.
Is this hardset?

Running Moss 2007 on wink 2k3 sp1.

Would this affect emails from workflows. Or is there anyting I should cehck
also.

Are you using the http  or https  address in your content source? If
you're telling it to crawl HTTP it's going to return HTTP addresses
unless you tell it otherwise.

I updated the content sources to be https
my problem is that when i click  on search  it goes to

http://portal/searchcenter/pages
when it should be
https://portal/searchcenter/pages

Has a full crawl been done since you changed the content source? In the
Search log is it showing that it's crawling the https  URL?
