SSAS Filter Web Part and SSRS Parameters

I have created a SharePoint dashboard page and have added a SSAS filter web
part and connected it to a SSRS report viewer web part. However, when
I select items in the filter, it does not update the reports on the
page (the page continues to indicate that you need to select a
parameter). My research has shown that you need to use a Query web
part instead, is that the case and you can't use a SSAS filter web
part to populate parameters for the SSRS Report Viewer?

You must put the filter  web part  into the "Filter Zone"... and multi selection worked.
