SQL server question

Asked By: Code    Date: Nov 29    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 647

My company is looking into deploying SPS 2003 within
the next year, so I doing preliminary research.

One question that I have is whether to use SQL Server
Enterprise edition or SQL Server standard? Does it
really matter, what are some pros and cons to either?

I have looked at the spec charts on both and am
wanting to know from ppl that have implemented and
used, which do you prefer/recommend, and why?

The main difference for an SPS implmentation is Enterprise is needed for
clustering, which is recommended for high availability in large deployments.
