SQL Server Connection

Can someone please tell me how to connect to SQL Server using
Microsoft SharePoint and return results..

What SQL server? What type of results  are you looking to get back?

use front page and create ur custom webpart which will connect  to db and dispaly
you the results  in a grid (change the cas)
