Sql logs Truncation

I have truncated the logs for my databases in sharepoint.

Is it OK to also truncate the :

FBA database
Share services
the sharepoint admin site

It is okay to truncate  the logs  of any databases  you don't plan on doing
"point in time" restores of. The ones you mentioned fall into that
category. Set those databases to "Simple" recovery mode. Then backup
each of their transaction logs with truncate. You have to back them up
before they'll truncate properly.

I truncated the logs. We presently dont do point in time restores.

I was able to run a truncate  only which saved me from backing the
logs up.
Kind of strange that if you run stsadmin to backup sites that you
still need to manaual do the backup on the logs  to truncate.

but it is time to go to another backup solution other than stsadmin.
I am iaiming for doc ave.

I think if you do farm level backups with STSADM (or Central Admin)
your logs  will be truncated. I'm not 100% positive though.
