SQL Database Disconnecting

I maintain few SharePoint Production Server. For some reason the SQL Connection fails for every 1 week. And when i try to open the Central Admin i recieve an error " No Connection with Database"

Have any one an idea on how to get rid of this?

There could be many reasons for this. Do check your how many NIC cards do you have on your server.

can you check what are the SP logs saying? also check the Event Viewer.
Check the events on the DB Server side too.

Are you using a locked down OS?

I would check

1. Eventviewer - Application events/security

2. Domain controller status in the forest(coz, the default content access account is domain\username). - I experience this often.

3. SQL server  status repair/suspend/normal.

4. w3wp process threshold.
