spsdash.css after SP1

Asked By: Nirmal Chandratre         Date: Aug 02, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 228

Before upgrading to SP1, I could update spsdash.css to include a custom
logo. Sure, I could go to each dashboards settings and click [x] use this
logo in the bar, but then I have to do it for all.

Anyway, before SP1 I updated the css and it updated all the pages and it was
nice.

After SP1, it lost all my changes and now I can't find where it is. Seems
it's disappeared from my view. I can see it in Portal/Resources, but it
won't let me edit it.

Is this intended behavior?

Will I have to go through everything again when I upgrade my Trial to a
Registered version?

You can copy the file to your local disk, and edit  the file. After you
finished editing, you can copy it back to the portal/resourcecs folder.
