SPS2001 Extranet site

Asked By: Jordon    Date: Aug 01    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 687

I've set up an extranet server and am having difficulty getting access to it via
the FQDN. DNS has been registered, SSL has been configured on the server
through IIS along with a certificate issued by our CA. Firewall rules have been
set, and I have set up a destination set, web publishing rule, configured a
listener, imported the certificate to ISA and created an entry in the hosts
file. I'm pretty sure I have carried out all these steps correctly so my only
thought is that I have left something out. When I try to connect using the
FQDN, all I get is a 'Page not found' error. If anyone knows about something I
should have done but have not, please do let me know.

I think I remember a problem with SSL working correctly  with
SharePoint....there may have been a fix, though I do not  recall. If anyone
knows of this, please respond.
