SPS V2 install question

Do I need to have certain rights on the domain (like Domain Admin rights) or use
a particualr domain account in order to install SPS Technical Refresh
successfully? I am running into a problem when trying to use an ordinary domain
account (that is a local admin on the server) or the local admin account.

You need an account which has got the administrator rights. Try with domain
account. I have installed with domian(as administrator) it works fine.
