SPS V2 Document Library and Office XP

I am trying to check-in/check-out from Word XP a document stored in a SPS V2
Document Library. With Word 2003, the Checkin/checkout are available in the
File menu but with OfficeXP it is not. Does anyone know if this can fixed ?

I tried to install the SPS V2 Client Components but got the same results
