SPS V2: Continuity of Operation

Asked By: Stevie    Date: Dec 12    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 859

Does anybody know how to setup an environment for continuity of
operation for SharePoint? I know with the backend being SQL, we can set
up clustering with two servers. But how do we handle the front end if
for some reason, the front end server dies. Has anybody done anything
like this for a customer?

That's exactly what the server  farm configurations are for. Check out the
medium and large farm configurations in the Administrator's guide for details.
