SPS v1 - Retrieving deleted Folders

I would like to use the Export Tool to back up workspaces in the event of a user
deleting a folder. I would like to automate this from Scheduled tasks. Does
anybody know the coding to run the task to activate the Export tool, pointing it
at the selected workspace to be exported and creating the .xml tool.
