SPS and .NET

Asked By: Guy    Date: Oct 13    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 511

Anyone running .NET f Framework on the same server with SharePoint? We have
a Help/Assitance application for the portal that currenty runs on another
server in our intranet that uses ASP.NET and SQL2000. We will be opening up
Extranet access to the portal but the server that the application is running
on is not accessible from the outside. I will have to move the application
to the portal server to allow outside access and would like to copy it
directly and not convert it to standard ASP.

Got to SPS servers with .NET installed, both used for developing an ASP.NET
apps to access  the WebStorageSystem. No probs except for coding the stupid
optional parameters that vb insists, in csharp, but that's a totally
different issue.

I don't want ot access  the WebStorageSystem. I just want
to have an ASPX page on the IIS server  that creates a Asssistance Request in the
database and emails the Admin. As I said, currently I have a link to the ASPX
page on another server but that link will not work for Extranetaccess.
