SPS intranet

Asked By: Jeremy    Date: Nov 24    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2126

i have this strange problem in my SPS intranet
- most of the users can't connect to it from their browsers
- everyone of them can connet to the intranet by web folders (client
tools)
- they all have author permissions
- i have coordinator permissions

- the sps server belongs to the some domain of all the users

my "strange" scenario:

when abc\user1 tries to connect to http://server/intranet (my server
belengs to abc domain) trough browser, the sps gives him
user+password+domain authentication box. After 3 tries, with correct
password for user1, he gets "Error: Access is Denied.". He, user1,
connects normaly with web folder to http://server/intranet, no
authentication box asked.

Note, there is a client portion of the SPS, which specifically includes the
web folders  which should be used to connect  to the SPPS portal.
