SPS 2007 configuration

I do have one laptop with 2 GB RAM and 1.7 GHZ processor. I want to install
SPS 2007, .Net 2.0, SQL server 2005, Office 12 on same laptop. Will it work out
?

i suggest that u check the recommended system requirement for the
products you want to install.

with MOSS2007 you will need windows server 2003 server as OS

on the whole i think it will work

I have seen people run that whole setup inside of a virtual machine inside
of Microsoft Virtual PC runnin gon XP.
It is going to be slow either way, but will work

I think the main bottleneck will be disk i/o. SharePoint 2007 does a lot
of disk read/write, esp. with the indexing service.
