SPS 2003 User Profile Map with AD

I just started playing with the user profiles in SPS 2003. I saw that we
have the capability to map to fields in Active Directory. I was able to
map, for example, cell phone to mobile in AD. But when I select Start
Full Import, I get the following error message in the log:

The address could not be found, (0x8007054B - The specified domain
either does not exist or could not be contacted. )

Does anybody know why? The account I'm using to access AD is the domain
admin.

Actually I found out the answer to this problem. The initial connection
that was created did not work for me, for some reason, the domain was
incorrect eventhough it looked correct. I had to create a new connection
pointing to the same domain and it worked.

So I don't know if anybody encountered this problem, but it worked for
me.
