SPS 2003 - Search Problem

I support an SPS 2003 server farm with a 3 server configuration; a
web/search server, an index/job server and a database server. A large document
upload was recently done using the WEBDAV interface, about 145,000 documents.

Now users are getting an error web page when doing a search with the display
"Server Error in '/' Application". This page also show a runtime error message.

Has anyone encoutered this problem before? Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to resolve this issue?
