SPS 2003 - Index Propogation (buffer)

Asked By: Marissa Black         Date: Aug 25, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 300

I am an SPS adminsitrator for a medium server farm. We have a seprate search
and index server setup.

I noticed a message in our search server event log.
"Index propagation to search server <server name (IP address)> was not
accepted. The buffer is too small"

Is there a way to check the buffer that is being referenced in this message?
If yes, where would I look (i.e. IIS)? Also, how would one go about adjusting
the buffer, if this is possible or is it necessary?
