SPS 2003 File Structure

Asked By: Elliot Erickson         Date: Oct 28, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 230

Can anyone please explain the file structure of SPS 2003.

I have created a number of Areas within my portal and each of them
are stored in what appears to be the root, however after creating
more, i notice that the file structure has changed to include
folders C1 to C19.

Why has this happened?
Should it have happened?
Why can't the folders for each of my Areas remain in the root of the
portal?
