SPS 2003 Browse Web Parts Page Renders Too Slow

I have SPS 2003 (Media Farm with 4 servers, 4 years in production now.
50GB in size) and when my users try to ADD WEB PART and pick BROWSE, the
page renders very very slow. (It takes ~30-40 seconds) What should I do
to make this a bit faster? I remember Todd said something about
"Disable Internet Connected Web Part". Is that where I should look into
next?

You want to deactivate the Online Web Part Gallery. That's what's causing
the delay. In Central Admin on the Application management page go to
Security for Web Part Pages and deactivate the online gallery.

No Problem. It took me a minute to remember just where the switch was in
2003. But I remember this issue well.
