SPS 2001 - Problem Moving Files using Windows Explorer

I have been moving files from a shared drive to SPS 2001 workspace
using the Windows Explorer interface.

Recently I started getting this error message, "You do not have
permission to move this file or folder into the new folder, or there
are network problems preventing authentication from the server".

Has anyone seen this problem before or know how to resolve this
problem. I am using Windows XP and IE 6.0. I have coordinator
privileges in the workspace. I have seen that this error gets
produced if you only have author priveleges but this has me stumped.
