There is already a trust relationship between both domain  ABC and DEF. Some
fact could help?

- ABC is a Windows NT domain.
- When adding a bad user  to the Portal Site User management page, an error
is given: The tool detect that the users  exists and also reteive email info
from there.
- No login works while accessing the home page portal site, even the one
used for Central Administration.
- Even a local Admin user can not access  the portal home page, even if admin
permission is given for that portal.

Does exist any more policy or right to check on the portal, virtual server
or the domains?

There is an option that will allow attachments sent in email to a public folder
to be automatically added to an SPS document library. See the admin
documentation for more info.
