Special permissions for a list

Asked By: Joyce    Date: Feb 26    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1259

I have a list where I have limited users to only be able to edit their
own entries. I would like to allow a select few individuals to be able
to edit/update any entries that are added. Is there a way to do this
w/o having to give them Designer rights?

Maybe you can do this with SharePoint permisison Boost. It is designed
to customize sharepoint permission by users.

This depends on what type of list  it is. For example, go to a Custom
list, and go to the Advanced Settings. There is a section in there
called "Item-Level" permissions, which lets you specify whether users
can read and edit  only their own items, or ALL.

Document libraries do not have this setting, but I think most other
list types do.
