I have a SPD workflow that uses the `assign a to-do item' activity to
assign a task for several people (i.e. one task per each person). My
testing shows that the workflow waits on all of the tasks to be
completed before moving to the next step. My desired outcome is that
the workflow assigns these task items and then waits X days and
continues regardless if the to do items have been completed or not. I
did create a secondary workflow on the task list and could
successfully set up an end-date for the task, but I still could not
find a way to via the SPD workflow automatically complete a task (so
that the primary workflow could continue).
