You've probably seen this one before if you've used Designer. I want to put
a DataFormWebPart on a custom page, but when I try to open up the data
source (a custom List), I get the old "The server returned a non-specific
error when trying to get data from the data source" message.

Background: this list is one of several that have been saved as a Template
and then rehydrated on another SharePoint server. Oddly enough, though,
this is the only one of the reconstituted lists that throws the error.

All the usual Google-dom shows lots of results, but none that really match
my situation (or so it would seem).
