SP2007 Navigation question

Asked By: Antoinette    Date: Mar 26    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 685

when publishing our extranet sites from dev.www.company.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.company.com to www.company.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.company.com,
some of the URL's still point to the development environment. i have verified
that the links are relative within the navigation settings (/site/page.aspx).
but after publishing the sites display the full link to the development site
(http://dev.www.company.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.company.com/site/page.aspx). all of the pages are approved, and
published within the development environment. any help with finding the root
cause would be greatly appreciated.

Are these urls, Links within a Links List perhaps? Or other item?

In those cases, the URL is jus t a property of the item, therefore the would
carry over.

I'm not the expert on WCM for MOSS yet, but this was a big issue in
SPS2003/WSS 2.0, and I would bet it's still an issue in some places within

I've experienced a similar issue using Beta 2 Technical Refresh. What
version are you using, RTM?

i'm using RTM. after quite a bit of research, and help  from others, i have the
problem resolved. i can go into all of the details if you are interested.
