Anyone installed SP1 to fix the Mysite cleanup issue and have it

Can you give a little background on what you are seeing?

The issue  starts with inactive profiles (those that had been imported,
but since have been inactive in AD) are still showing up on people
search results and their public mysites are still accessible. According
to the SP1 KB, as short as it was on this subject, it said it had fixed
it. I have implemented SP1 on a dev environment and the same scenario
exists, disabled/deleted accounts in AD which are dumped to the inactive
profile bucket after x number of full imports, are still showing up on
searches and public view of Mysites are still accessible. It doesn't
seem to have deleted them.

Have you also run a new search index after the users have moved in the
inactive state in the profile database? I'm not having much luck
tracking down exactly what the cleanup  job is supposed to do, but it
wouldn't surprise me too much if it only affected the private My Site
and not the Public, since the public is common to all users and takes up
no space or resources where the private actually uses additional space.

Interesting post, we're trying to migrate / move users from one AD domain to
another, leaving behind inactive ones, and face a similar issue.

Are you expecting the new cleanup  job to delete My-Sites, and the
corresponding profile records, on a full profile import?

Are your inactive users AD accounts disabled or deleted in AD? Does your AD
profile import job include a rule to avoid disabled AD accounts (if they are
disabled)?

I would like to know whether deleting / removing of profile entry also
deletes corresponding My-Sites please?

Yes, I have actually clear the indexes and re-run a full crawl on the
index and still the problem exists.
