Solution File ?

i am developing everything in Virtual PC (VPC). The vpc in my local machine.
I created site based on teamsite and i added some custom list,Custom
Columns,Content type and webparts etc..

now i want to move all these to remote server. how to do ? where client can show
demo to others.
is i need to create solution files? if how to create ?

You can use the stsadm command line tool from a Command Prompt. This
will allow you to backup the top-level site  and all the information
contained in it.

1) Use stsadm -o backup ....

To create  a backup File.

2) Copy the backup file  to the new server.

3) Use stsadm -o restore ....

command to restore on the new server.

You can use the

stsadm -o export ... and

stsadm -o import ....

commands. This works on a site  level.

If you want to get more granular, you can develop a feature or a
solution. Bleeker's A Developer's Guide to Windows SharePoint Services
3.0 is a good place to get detailed advice.
