smigrate-- unusual results

I have been using smigrate routinely now for a few months, but
tonight I had unusual results-- with a bigger site-- approx 500
MB in size.

I issued this command to create the 'backup pachage':

C:\smigrate\smigrate.exe -w
cpai.conocophillips.net/.../AGPPT_Demobilization -f
c:\backups\AGPPT2_try2_fromhome.fwp -y >
c:\backups\AGPPT2_try2_fromhome.log



Instead of one fwp file, 4 were built:
AGPPT2_try2_fromhome.fwp
AGPPT2_try2_fromhome1.fwp
AGPPT2_try2_fromhome2.fwp
AGPPT2_try2_fromhome3.fwp

One error was indicated in log file : Server error: couldn't
send 'Shared Documents/Filenet Final Indexes.mdb



I then issued the 'restore' cmd, one foe each 'package':
C:\smigrate\smigrate.exe -r -w
sptupcpai.conocophillips.net/.../AGPPT_Demob" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">sptupcpai.conocophillips.net/.../AGPPT_Demob" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">sptupcpai.conocophillips.net/.../AGPPT_Demob" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">sptupcpai.conocophillips.net/.../AGPPT_Demob -f
c:\backups\AGPPT2_try2_fromhome.fwp > c:\backups\AGPPT_new_locale.log

The first one ran OK
The other 3 gave this very appreviated log file:

15 Mar 2005 22:05:31 -0900 Site collection opened
15 Mar 2005 22:05:33 -0900 Site opened
Progress: c:\backups\AGPPT2_try2_fromhome1.fwp has order 1 but was
listed in order 0
15 Mar 2005 22:05:33 -0900 ERROR (possibly fatal):
ERROR: 131180 c:\backups\AGPPT2_try2_fromhome1.fwp has order 1 but
was listed in order 0
15 Mar 2005 22:05:33 -0900 Site closed
15 Mar 2005 22:05:33 -0900 Site collection closed



Anyone ever seen multiple fwp files created before when using
smigrate??????

smigrate automatically spans multiple files if you reach a certain size  limit - you should notice that all the files except the last one are the same size. Just keep them all together, and when you do the restore  you only have to target the first file  and it will automatically load the others - you do not have to restore them seperately.

About the error  - certain files are not backed-up through smigrate  (some of the filetypes that are normally blocked by WSS). I believe the Access file (mdb) you tried to backup  fits this criteria. Anyone have a list of file types that smigrate will/will not backup?

I feel better now-- but--
you say "you should notice that all the files except the last one are
the same size."----
My files are this size---
33 MB
29 MB
23 MB
18 MB
(in order of creation)

As they are created, they get smaller.

Any comments please??

Al the files in my sites are usually very small word files etc. I'm presuming that you are dealing with files a bit larger in size  and also presuming that the size difference is just the storage space difference required to make sure files don't get split up. Maybe I should have said "similar" sized I wouldn't worry about it.
