Smartphone recommendations for MOSS access?

Asked By: Dianna    Date: Aug 21    Category: MOSS    Views: 659

I'm looking to get a smartphone, but would like to make sure I can
access MOSS with it. Can Blackberries do that easily? Any
recommendations or advice based on anyone's experience?

Look at who your carrier is. I believe that any mobile running Windows
Mobile will be able to authenticate. I personally am with Sprint and use
a PalmOne Treo (running the Palm OS) and have no issues accessing our
SharePoint site.

I have a PPC 6700 and it can render the /m pages just fine. The /m
pages don't have the Sign In link like the normal ones do, so if the
page is available anonymously you won't be able to log in easily. If
you hit a non /m page, or hit a /m page that is not available
anonymously you can log in. At least that's how my PPC 6700 works.
