Try changing NAT and firewall settings. If they are okay then your hardware is the to blame here. Check your RAM, Hard Drive and Network performance indicators to get a hold of their current usage. SharePoint uses a lot of resources so its best to it more resource most probable in terms of physical and virtual memory.
