I have 2 questions regarding size limitations in MOSS 2007:
1) We have a broadcast station that is currently using Bamboo Solutions
Video library to store movie clips. We currently have a default site collection
size limit of 3G and 10G. Has anyone experienced/know at what point either their
site will start being impacted by all the video or possibly the entire
SharePoint environment might be impacted, if we increase the 10G size limit? We
are trying to figure out if SharePoint is the best solution for them, and
hopefully this is a case where IT can say 'yes', instead of 'no, we can't do
that'.
2) Our Internal Audit department would like to retain the SharePoint
Workflow history for at least 3 years. I know that the default is 60 days for
the auto cleanup...and read a little something about the item limits for a
list... does anyone see a problem with increasing this number to 3 years within
a MOSS 2007 environment?
